Peter H. Fauver

Prior to joining Resolution-Now, Judge Fauver spent 16 years as an Associate Justice of the New Hampshire Superior Court. During these years, Judge Fauver was responsible for civil, equity, and criminal cases, both bench and jury, generally in Strafford County. He also served as Supervisory Justice of the Strafford County Superior Court 2007-2008, was a member of the NH Judicial Retirement Board’s Board of Trustees, and was appointed by the Chief of the Superior Court as Rule 170 B Mediator for complex litigation.

Prior to the Superior Court appointment Judge Fauver was engaged in the private practice of law in central and northern NH. From 1977 to 1992, he also served as justice of the Ossipee and Conway District Courts. From 1989 to 1992, Judge Fauver served as Chair of the NH Supreme Court Professional Conduct Committee, and member of the Supreme Court Character and Fitness Committee. He recently completed the New Hampshire Supreme Court Appellate Mediation Program and the New Hampshire Court Arbitration Program presented by the American Arbitration Association.

Judge Fauver became a member of the NH Bar in 1973, following graduation from the University of Tennessee College of Law (JD) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BA). He is a New Hampshire native and attended Holderness School in Plymouth.
