Robert Morrill

Prior to joining Resolution-Now, Judge Morrill served as a Justice of the New Hampshire Superior Court, presiding over thousands of cases. These included every type of litigation: breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, intellectual property, domestic relations, partnership, employment, negligence, personal injury, construction, consumer fraud, landlord-tenant, note collection, fee disputes, defamation, civil rights, and embezzlement.

Throughout his career, Judge Morrill maintained a commitment to professional development by attending training courses from the American Arbitration Association, Pepperdine University College of Law, and the Ohio State University School of Law. Courses included “Mediating the Litigated Case,” “Mediator Skill-Building Training,” and an “Advanced Mediation Workshop.”

Judge Morrill began his legal career in a private practice, becoming associate and partner at Hall, Morse, Gallagher and Anderson in Concord, NH. The firm represented insurance companies, individuals, businesses, partnerships and corporations in federal and state courts. Judge Morrill earned his undergraduate degrees from Harvard College and Victoria University in Wellington, NZ, and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Judge Morrill is a Certified Arbitrator and Mediator by the American Arbitration Association, he currently serves as a faculty member at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, New England Regional and as an instructor at Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Program. He is also the recipient of several awards including the Justice William A. Grimes Award for Judicial Professionalism from the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the Award of Judicial Excellence, National Conference of State Trial Judges.
